Difficult pregnancies | Unexpected or traumatic birth experiences | Relationships with our childhood caregivers | Postpartum mood disorders | Sensory and nervous system dysregulation | Transitions to parenthood | Changing relationships with our partner, family, and friends ...
All of these factors influence how we show up with our infants and toddlers. My goal is to help you settle into a relationship with your child that meets the baby's AND your social and emotional needs. There is a deep connection between your well-being and your child's social and emotional development.
In my 1:1 therapy sessions, I use a strength-based, solution-focused approach, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), all in the context of early relational health and attachment theory. I hope to help you feel confident in your relationship with your child and other important people in your life in a way that feels authentic to who you are as a person.
1:1 sessions are held virtually for 55 minutes. I accept many insurances, including Optum (United Healthcare, Oscar, Oxford), Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Carelon, Cigna, Evernorth, and more. Self-pay and reduced-fee options are also available.
Your baby/toddler is always welcome to join!
